“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  Matthew 28:19

Bishop Keith Ackerman, SSC Bishop Visitor

In response to the urgency of the Great Commission, the Franciscan Missionaries of Divine Compassion was established to provide a place for Anglican men and women to live out the principles of classic religious life in the context of active ministry, with a focus on prayer, community, and mission.  The community strives to bring the Gospel to the people, the people to the sacraments, and the tender love of our Lord Jesus Christ to all.  It upholds the Biblical faith of the early undivided Church and has a special charism of love as the primary means of evangelization.

It was Divine Compassion that caused our Lord to come and suffer for us,
and so it is our contact with Jesus that draws us out to share that tender love
with others. In the gentleness of the Holy Spirit, the religious are
called to bind up the wounded and proclaim the life-giving Word of God, for the Lord said to St. Francis,
“Go and rebuild my Church!”

You can help us train new religious and serve.  Send donations to the address below!
